They have arrived! They were born early morning October 31st. So dang cute! Piper is a great momma! 4 male & 4 female. Or as the kids would say 3 Pipers(solid liver) & 5 Rugers(white w/liver spots). We have been trying to keep the kids from messing with them until they get a bit bigger. But boy would they LOVE to just sit there and hold them all day long. This is her first litter and she had no clue what was happening as the first 3 puppies plopped out. She eventually (thankfully) got the hang of it and even delivered 1 more all by herself after I went to bed at 3:15am. It was a long night! All seem to be healthy and feeding well and will be visiting the vet on Monday to have their tails docked & dew claws removed. Individual pup pics to come soon...
